random1289's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Put This In Your Bible So I went to the mall with some friends today because my friend had some cards for FREE light smoothies at Orange Julius! Yum. :] So we were enjoying our free smoothies in the food court, minding our own business, when all of a sudden this lady approaches us and says she has a few questions for us. At first I thought she was one of those annoying survey people and I was wondering where her clipboard was when she started talking to us about JESUS. She was asking us things like "Do you know for sure that if something happened right now you would get into heaven?" and crazy stuff like that! And then she starts PREACHING to us about how Jesus died for our sins and so on. This whole time I'm trying not to bust out laughing and I'm looking over at my friend Maritza like PLEASE SAY TELL HER YOU'RE JEWISH. But she didn't. :[ Anyway this lady even tried to lead us in a prayer and then told us that now we've been "saved" and that we should write June 19th in our Bibles so we will never forget the day we were saved and accepted Jesus Christ into our hearts. I kid you not. It was really funny, but after she went away, I was really offended. Who is she to judge me, and assume that I haven't already accepted Jesus into my heart? One of the things that Christianity teaches is to not judge others....but she basically just judged us and thought we needed to be saved. And then I started wondering why she came over to our table in the first place. I mean my friends and I don't exactly look like bad kids or anything. It was really weird.
