Sophmore year ---> Challenge?--->Bring it.

Today was the first day of school.
Here is how it went, what the classes are like, et cetra. Today was a half day though, so we didn't spend too much time in class..

Study Hall
At first this class seemed pretty cool. My friend Nelly is in this class with me, so that was nice. It's a little overcrowded-43 people, but that should clear up once people start volunteering to be student aids. The only bad thing is that it's a silent study hall. >.<
Most teachers usually say this though, so who knows how long it'll actually last.

Visual Communications
I also have this class with Nelly, so that's great. The teacher didn't talk much, so it was hard to get a feel of what she'd be like. A really cute blonde guy sat near me though, I think that's a good sign. ;)

Biology I
No friends in here. I scouted the room though and I found one potential friend and one potential acquaintence. We'll see how things turn out. On the teacher front, he talks really loud, which could get annoying.

Geometry
I didn't really get a chance to scout for friends in here. The teacher seems really nice. She said it was alright with her if we eat in there. She also said that we can listen to our ipods as long as she wasn't teaching (we can even listen to them during tests!)

Spanish I
The teacher in here is crazy. Literally. The seating chart she had for us looked like it was made for a completely different classroom. It took forever for her to just tell everybody where to sit since nobody could figure it out.

English II
I have this class with Alexandria and Jasmine, so that's pretty much awesome. The teacher was very...enthusiastic. He really likes writing (as he proclaimed 1,000 times in 15 minutes). He also said that he wanted to challenge us in literature which I thought was cool because I was worried that since I dropped honors English that we'd be reading really generic books and not have socratic seminars or anything, but we are.

The only bad thing about him is that he admitted that he spits sometimes. I appreciate the heads up, but if you know about it, can't you fix it? That's just downright nasty. Alexandria turned to me and said "If he pulls a Pumkin on me I swear to god..." and I agree with her. I'll flip out if I get spit on. Hopefully it won't happen though.

World History Honors
Kelsey is in this class with me. I also talked to this girl Laura today and she seemed nice. The teacher seems like she escaped from an insane asylum. Today while she was calling roll she kept nodding and smiling randomly. For instance she'd say "John Doe" and John would say "Here." and she'd just nod and smile for about 30 seconds and then move on to the next name. My brother said that one time she graded a test out of 1000 instead of 100 so the whole class was failing and it took her a week to figure out why...

So yeah. I don't have many classes with friends which majorly sucks. I want to try and make new friends, but it's a lot harder than it sounds. The kids here don't really want to make new friends, so it's going to be hard, but I'm up for the challenge.

Bring it.
