random1289's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Paramore Today as I was getting ready I turned on the t.v. like I always do when I have extra time. I usually watch music videos. I turned on vh1 but whatever music video was playing on there had terrible balance so I decided to flip over to mtv instead. Miraculously, mtv was actually playing music videos! And they were playing one of my fav. videos... "Misery Business" by Paramore. And then I realized, I was watching mtv! The little indie band that I love was on mtv! I just felt so proud of them right then and there. I was just thinking "They made it big! I'm so happy for them." I felt like a grandmother whose grandson got into Harvard or something. Just a "look how far they've gone" feeling. It felt really good. I know some people aren't happy that they're going "mainstream". They're upset that people have only heard one song and are complaining that it's only a matter of time until Josh becomes the next Pete Wentz to crazy fangirls. I just think that it's great that people are listening to them. That's what they want, and now they've got it. Sure it'll be kind of annoying when people that have only heard one song proclaim themselves Paramore's "biggest fans", but as long as they keep making music, I'm going to keep on listening. 6:07 p.m. - 07/30/2007 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
