random1289's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Leaner's permit I got my learners permit today!! The drivers place is always really crowded, so my dad woke me up at 6:30 so we could get there when it opened. I had gone to bed at 1:30, so I was still kind of tired. >.< We ended up getting to the drivers licence place (what is it called?!) at around 8:00. We had to drop our dog off to get groomed on the way, so we were running a bit late. After waiting in line for 20 minutes, we sat down to wait. 2 hours later (seriously. It was 2 hours. Good thing I brought a Harry Potter book.) they called me up. I turned in the forms and they made me do the eye test. My friend had said it was really hard, and she failed, so I was really nervous. I had to read the line of numbers 3 times. I kept messing up and only reading half of it. It was really hard to see the thing! I finally got to take the test. There were 30 questions. I missed 6. Luckily, that was the maximum amount that you can miss! So I barely passed. But hey, passing is passing. Then I had to wait some more to get my picture I.D. There was a cute guy there checking me out. I couldn't flirt though, because my dad was there with me. He would've gone beserk. In his opinion I should become a nun and stay away from boys forever. Then again, what dad doesn't think/wish that? I'm really excited though! My picture turned out really good. I was afraid it'd look ugly. Most people's do. So yeah, I finally got my permit! I'm soooo excited. I'm a bit nervous to start driving though. I can hardly drive a go-kart. Luckily we live close to 2 schools that have really good practice parking lots. So, yeah. :D
