random1289's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Spring Fling Yesterday was Spring Fling so our school schedule was a little bit messed up. First we went to 8th period, which happens to be study hall for me. We combined study halls with the one across the hall from us. I brough Uno so me, Sam, Alexandria, Brittany, Tara, and Maritza played. I came in 2nd in the first game and 1st in the second game. lol. I got skillz. After that we went to 7th period which is English and we basically didn't do anything. At 11 o'clock we all went outside. They had lots of blow up stuff outside (slides, obstacle course, and some fighting thing..). We decided to eat lunch first incase they ran out of food. Alexandria, Sam, and I had Chick-fil-a. Maritza, Ashlyn, and Nelly split a pizza. After that we just sat around and signed yearbooks or whatever people brought to get signed. Then we FINALLY found Rebecca and Amy ditched Erica to come be with us. Later we actually saw Erica all by herself walking off. We were like "Ha. She has no friends." lol. Sounds mean, but it's her own fault. Then Amy and Rebecca wanted to go see the Battle of the Bands. So me, Sam, Nelly, and Ashlyn went with them. The first band was AH-MAZING!!! And they were freshmen (I have a class with 2 of them). They played two covers and an original. Their original song was sooo good! It sounded like something I could hear on the radio. I can see them getting a record deal when they're older. The second band wasn't as good. They had terrible balance (something they should've realized considering that their bassist, who is a senior, happens to be in my General Music class) and their guitarist/singer almost never faced the audience which kind of bothered me. The last act we heard was a group of rappers. We ended up leaving during that because we really didn't like it. It was hard to understand what they were saying and they kept forgetting words. So after that we went back outside and went down the slide like a million times. We got lots of pictures. All and all it was a good day.
