random1289's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Not smart Yay! Mid-terms are over! Winter break is finally here! Some of my exams are already graded. Here are my results. General Music-98 (the highest grade in our class. He made me stand up for an applause. It was embarassing) After we got our AWH exams back, Jackson turned around and said "So Amanda, did you get a 100?" It actually made me kind of mad. I mean, just because I'm quiet in clas doesn't mean I'm a genius or anything. They think I don't talk to them because I think I'm too good for them. Well, it's not true! Did it ever occur to them that maybe I'm not a snobby genius, but that I'm just shy? I actually have a hard time talking to people I don't know. If they took the effort to get to know me, they'd realize that I'm actually not that smart. I mean a person who gets 100s on everything wouldn't have to look at this riddle 1 D for five minutes and then turn to ask their friend what it means only to find out that it's Count Dracula. I suppose I should be happy that my label is "smart girl" instead of something like "that pothead who skips classes" or "that slut" It's just frustrating that they don't take the time to get to know the real me. The one that's not quiet and is quite actually loud and funny.
