random1289's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Another Update!! Alright, this time I PROMISE I'll update more! I've been encouraged by all (two) notes I've gotten about my phone call entry (thanksies by the way! wait...thanksies? Where did that come from) So here's a little (long) update on what's been happening in my life. 8/10/06- This was the first day of Freshman orientation!! It was my first time EVER in my highschool, which is HUGE by the way. Anyway, the split us up into little "link groups", which were led by juniors and seniors. We didn't really do much, because it was only half a day. We just played little games and they gave us a tour. I was SOOOO confused after the tour though! I didn't think I'd ever be able to find my way around. But the best part was, that after it was over I walked with Rebecca to her house. Alexandria walked with us too because she lives like one house down from Rebecca. Anyway, the street we have to cross is a pretty busy street. So we're waiting for a gap to run acroos and Alexandria freaks out and makes Rebecca hold her hand. It was hilarious!! So then we ran across the street screaming. Probably a pretty darn funny site. 8/14/06- My first day of highschool! I was so nervous, I was starting to feel sick (sad, I know). But it turned out to not be so bad, that is until I got to French III. (I honestly don't know why I signed up for that, I always hated French!) Anyways, when I got there, my class is full of upperclassmen and then the teacher starts giving directions...in French! I mean they were ALL in French!!! And everybody understood what she was saying and I just....dindn't. I felt sooo stupid! :( Oh and another bad thing, just about EVERYBODY was from a different middle school. Yeah, most of my friends went to CHS. :( 8/18/05- Yay! This is the day I got my new schedule. French didn't get any better, so I dropped it. I decided to take General Music in it's place, but it messed up my schedule more than I thought it would! They changed my Physical Science teacher :( But then again, now I'm in Maritza's science class!! Here's my new schedule incase you care 1. General Music 8/21/06- I was walking home with Rebecca (we were walking in the bike lane alongside a busy street. jsyk.) and all of a sudden we hear this screeching sound. We (well, at least I) thought that like a car was going to screech off of the road and hit us, but it turned out to be some girl (from our school, we don't know who she is though) screaming!!! It scared us, but when you think about it, it was a good idea. (they did that again too, only this time they also threw a snapple bottle at us) So yeah, that's a little (big) update for ya!
