random1289's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Awkwardness Lots of weirdness today! Let me fill you in! Ok. Well the 8th grade formal is tomorrow. I'm not going, but most the people that are are making a TOTAL big deal out of it. I mean seriously, they're acting like it's senior prom or something. They're spending like $200 on dresses and renting limos, and Jade even got a spray tan! (She now looks like an oompa loompa) So anyway, we were sitting in art and it was me, Leesha, Krystina, and Heather at the table. And then Jacob (some call him Jake, I call him Jacob because that's what he went by in 6th grade and that's when I met him) pulled up a chair and sat with us. Well, anyway then he said "So, Amanda, are you going to the the dance?" It was SO weird!! I mean why did he ask ME if I was going to the dance? I mean there were three other girls at the table and yet he asked if I was going!! I really hope he wasn't going to like ask me to it or anything. Because...well....Jacob isn't....well I wouldn't date him. Anyway then he asked why and I said it was a stupid waste of time and I have nothing to wear anyway. Also in the news (lol) Ashton didn't know that chickens were birds. Yes that's right a girl in the 8th grade (and ALL honors classes plus she's in Algebra) didn't know that chickens were birds! Or roosters for that matter. Apparently she thought they were some sort of reptile or something. lol. It was pretty funny! ALSO in Language Arts we were trying to work on our French work when Jeremy was being distracting (as always) and Rebecca said "Jeremy! Stop it and work on your work" and he said "what?" and I told him what Rebecca said and then he said "Well, tell her to mind her own business and that I already finished my work anyway. I hate her" Which was totally untrue because A. Jeremy NEVER does his homework! I don't think he's ever had it! And B. We'd only been working on our French work for what? Like ten minuets and this was THREE pages of French. There's no way his pea brain could've finished it! Anyway it really pissed of Rebecca and stuff (not that she cares that he hates her.
